Data Deletion
Last Updated: August 2026
Deleting your data
If you have contacted Limar Homes — through this website, by email, or by messaging us on WhatsApp — we hold a record of that contact. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and you do not need to give a reason.
How to ask
Send us a request by any of the following. Please say that you are asking for your data to be deleted, and use the same phone number or email address you contacted us from.
- Email: info@limarhomes.com
- WhatsApp: reply to any conversation with us and ask us to delete your data.
- Post: Akadimias 17, Athens, Greece
If we cannot tell from the request which records are yours, we will ask you one question to confirm it. We will not ask for identity documents.
If you only want us to stop messaging you
You do not need a deletion request for that. Reply STOP, ΣΤΟΠ, ΔΙΑΓΡΑΦΗ or UNSUBSCRIBE to any WhatsApp message from us and we will stop immediately and confirm once. That takes effect straight away and is never reversed automatically.
What we delete
On a deletion request we remove, for the phone number or email address you used:
- The content of your messages to us and ours to you, including photographs, documents and any other files exchanged.
- Copies of that message content held anywhere else in our systems, including in the history shown against an enquiry.
- Your name and profile details as we recorded them.
What we keep, and why
Two things survive a deletion request, because deleting them would harm you rather than protect you:
- The record that you asked us to stop messaging you. This is the only thing that prevents us contacting you again, so we keep it indefinitely. It holds your phone number and the date, and nothing about what you said.
- Records we are required by law to retain, such as those relating to a completed property transaction. If this applies to you we will tell you which records, and why.
How long it takes
We respond within 30 days, and usually much sooner. If we need longer we will tell you before the 30 days are up and explain why.
Getting a copy first
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you before deciding. We will send it in a machine-readable file, together with any photographs or documents exchanged. Deletion is permanent and we cannot restore anything afterwards, so it is worth asking for the copy first if you may need it.
If you are not satisfied
You can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr), which supervises us. You can do this at any time and you do not need to contact us first.
More detail
What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Policy.
